Prague's event brings together in-house lawyers for an extraordinary evening of inspiration, conversation and art

On 3 October, over 70 guests, in-house lawyers and DLA Piper colleagues, gathered at Art Gallery Černá Labuť for an exclusive event organized by the Prague office – launch of the WIN (What In-house lawyers Need) programme. Prague office has now joined the ranks of cities where this successful global initiative is in action!

The evening started with welcome speech of Tomáš Ščerba, Partner of our Prague office and Ondřej Chlada, Head of Employment and Senior Associate in Prague, followed by captivating interview led by Táňa Lysková from Forbes  with Marie Brejchová, representing the Czech Union of In-house Lawyers, and Taťána le Moigne, mentor and former director of Google Czech Republic.

Attendees were also treated to a private tour of Paulo Kostabi's artwork, guided by the exhibition curator Miroslav Houška. The event offered a unique blend of artistic inspiration and professional discussion, fostering connections within the legal community.

In addition to these highlights, the evening included a compelling introduction of the WIN programme, an esteemed global initiative by DLA Piper aimed at empowering in-house lawyers. This program provides a wealth of resources, educational events, and networking opportunities tailored to address the unique challenges faced by legal professionals.

By fostering collaboration and knowledge-sharing, WIN enhances the support network for in-house lawyers, promoting their professional growth and success within the legal landscape.

Thank you to everyone who joined us for this special evening. A special thank you to the Prague office for their exceptional efforts in organizing this outstanding event and successfully introducing the WIN programme to the Czech Republic.
