Women's WIN

A network to support female in-house lawyers with developing leadership skills, discussing challenges and sharing best practice

Our Women's WIN programme provides a unique opportunity for female in-house lawyers within our extensive community, at a range of levels, to interact with one another and with successful female leaders in an intimate, interactive environment.

Women's WIN events in the past have included leadership panels within the UK and Australia exploring best practice in leadership and the challenges facing female leaders, the impact of the retiring baby boomer generation as a catalyst for fundamental change in the dynamics of our working environment, specialist soft skills training events for women and networking opportunities.

If you are interested in Women's WIN initiatives, please register your details and keep an eye on our website.

Previous panellists involved in Women's WIN events have included General Counsel from the Royal Bank of Scotland, Vodafone, Barings Asset Management, Cancer Research UK, Sodexo, Unilever, GE Capital and Morgan Stanley. If you are interested in being involved in Women's WIN - either as panellist or simply to help shape the agenda - please contact us.

The Leadership Alliance for Women

DLA Piper has been recognised as a market leader in diversity initiatives and our Leadership Alliance for Women (LAW) programme has been named as the Best Gender Diversity Initiative by an International Firm at the Euromoney Women in Business Law Awards (2014).

LAW was launched in late 2013 the UK and in April 2014 in Australia, focussing on mentoring, bespoke skills training and networking for female lawyers at DLA Piper. Our Women's WIN initiative extends the excellence of our LAW programme to our clients and provides a unique platform for training, networking and sharing best practice.

What our clients are saying

WIN is a truly unique product offering, and a refreshing approach to client relationship management. DLA is clearly trying to understand what is important to us as clients, as a community of in-house lawyers, and has tailored a well-executed programme to meet our changing needs. I have been involved in shaping the WIN agenda, and am very proud to do so to support my peers.
